The secret of a happy relationship

In my last article, you got some very helpful tips for a happy relationship. Here you can get to read it.

It’s honestly very much and you have to realize that you don’t have to find someone who brings all this together! That’s important.

You only need one “little” secret how to be happy in a relationship.

If you find someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, the woman shouldn’t think about herself.

Also, the man shouldn’t think about himself.

But the man shouldn’t think about his woman.

Also, the woman shouldn’t think about his man.

That’s a little bit strange, isn’t it?

When you are in a relationship or a marriage, you shouldn’t think about yourself, because then you won’t give a good for your relationship. But also you shouldn’t think about your partner, because then you always give, give, give. That’s not good either!

Instead, you have to think about “us”.

It’s all about “us” in a relationship. Not about me, not she, not he.

And if you have a problem, which problem is it?

“Ours”.

If you have a problem in your relationship and you think, that’s just the problem of your partner, you won’t help to get over it. But if you take the problem only as a problem of yourself, you only have one side of the solution.

If you see all problem as “ours” them you will find a way to get through this.

That’s the key of a happy marriage.

  1. Wow such a profoud thought shared in a really simply way. You’re spot on I think. I remember seeing a image entitled “How to have a happy relationship’ that had ME inside a dashed box. Underneath were instructions

    1. Cut on dotted line
    2. Rotate 180 degrees

The ME become WE and your post made me think of it again. I think thinking in terms of ‘us’ and ‘we’ helps you think in terms of being a team and on the same side, not against or competing with one another, a lot of wisdom in that 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
